At Gremlin Social, we think it’s important for our clients, partners, and other stakeholders to be able to put a face to a name. That’s why we like to do monthly employee spotlights! This month, we sat down with William Moses, the director of our business development department, to ask him a few questions about his experience at Gremlin.
What do you do at Gremlin?
As Director of Business Development, I'm one of our clients' first touch points. I help set up their Gremlin Social accounts so they can achieve their social media dreams. What's fun about my job is how different it can be depending on the customer. I can't approach everyone from a one-size-fits-all standpoint. Ultimately, I want to help our customers succeed on social media, and that means tailoring the client experience to individual needs.
How did you come to join the Gremlin Social team?
After trying my hand in the environmental industry (which is what I earned my bachelor's degree in), I found myself drawn to the world of technology sales. I applied to Gremlin Social and almost missed out on the opportunity because I was asked to come in for an interview while I was on my honeymoon in Vietnam!
What’s your favorite thing about working at Gremlin?
The best part of working at Gremlin Social is that we're constantly trying to improve how we do things. It's amazing to see how much we've changed and grown in just seven months, and I look forward to seeing what 2019 has in store for us.
How would your co-workers describe you?
Professionally, they'd say that I'm extremely passionate about helping customers achieve their social media goals. Personally, they'd say that I'm a major foodie.
What’s your favorite memory you’ve made during your time at the company?
Attending the ABA Bank Marketing Conference in Baltimore in September was a blast! I got to learn firsthand how bank marketers approach social media.
